Victor Schoone CEMS Msc BA is the Country Manager for the Middle East region and surrounding countries since 2006 when he established the Roca Sanitario, S.A. Representation Office in Dubai, UAE. His mission is to accomplish in the Middle East region the company's Vision 2020, to be the Leading Global Bathroom Brand. To become the reference in the market for bathrooms and tiles, the Representative Office in collaboration with the exclusive network of Roca dealers is aiming to strengthen the recognition by the market of Roca's 5 key values: Innovation, Design, Sustainability, Wellness and Leadership.


Mr. Ibrahim Al Zubi

Head of CSR, Majid Al Futtaim Properties
As head of CSR  for the Majid Al Futtaim Properties  ; Ibrahim Al-Zu’bi brings with him over Fifteen years of experience in Sustainability and CSR . He has taken environmental initiatives to another level in the Middle East through his tireless campaigns for raising awareness for environmental issues, climate change and education programs and private sector engagement. Having coordinated and initiated numerous environmental projects/campaigns in the MENA region as well as internationally, Ibrahim works closely with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) on Civil Society, Youth, Sports and Sustainable Development issues as the West Asia Coordinator of the UNEP UNESCO YouthXchange Project. Ibrahim is also an official ambassador and Presenter  for the Honorable Al Gore Climate Reality  Project.
Having been an avid diver for the environment for the last fifteen years, Ibrahim’s passion let him to being one of the key people in establishing Emirates Diving Association; a UNEP accredited NGO where he remains the Environmental Advisor and Executive Director. Being the driving force behind the NGO, Ibrahim is also the editor of EDA’s quarterly diving magazine ‘Divers for the Environment’ the 1st diving magazine in the Middle East.


Ms. Sandra Anani

Sustainability and Communications Advisor , Airlines and Aviation 
Sandra Anani is a recognised aviation policy and sustainability expert, with over 17 years’ experience. She has dedicated her career to the sustainable development of the aviation industry, starting in 1994 with British Airways, where she managed operations, customer service and sales. In 2003 Sandra joined the British Airports Authority, covering operations and assurance at Heathrow Airport. Her last role with BAA was at corporate level, managing aviation policy covering various elements including aviation environmental taxation, passengers with reduced mobility and airport charges. In May 2009 Sandra joined Abu Dhabi Airports Company to lead the development of corporate responsibility. Sandra is currently preparing a research proposal in application for her PhD on aviation sustainability and the role of women in aviation. Her diverse career has been complemented by her ongoing commitment to academic development, including an MBA in International Business Management from the University of London.


Mr. Paul Bierman-Lytle

Paul Bierman-Lytle is recognized as one of the early pioneers in sustainable design and development worldwide.  Receiving his Masters degree in architecture from Yale University, Paul started his own design/build company winning awards internationally as well as featured on CNN, ABC, ZDP, PBS, Australian and Japanese television .  Paul served as co-founder of the prestigious American Institute of Architects Committee On The Environment from 1990-93.  The COTE was instrumental in the founding of the USGBC.   He was recently awarded the USGBC Leadership Award and AIA Presidential Citation as one of the “founders of green design in the United States.”  
Paul has served as representative to the World Business Council on Sustainable Development in Geneva and as Chairman on Building Materials for HRH Prince of Wales International Hotel Environment Initiative in London.
